Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you, a talented ESL teacher to deliver in‑person classes, who is passionate about teaching and adopts a customer‑centered approach to working with international learners.
This position starts as part‑time (subject to change according to schedule availability), and the classes are on campus (Downtown Vancouver) from Monday to Friday 8:15am to 1:00pm.
All candidates must be located in Vancouver, and available to work in‑person.
What you could be doing:
- Contributing to our unique face‑to‑face ESL learning experience on campus
- Teaching students in programs including:
- Pathway/EAP Program
- IELTS Test Preparation
- Business English
Qualifications and
Education Requirements:
- A TESL/TESOL certificate recognized by TESL Canada or TESL Ontario, or CELTA/DELTA
- Previous teaching experience either in Canada or overseas is an asset but not required
We provide:
- Professional Development workshops
- Customized curriculum created by Oxford University Press (OUP)
- Over 100 in‑house proprietary tests
- Textbooks, supplementary material, and lesson plans
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday on campus, 8:15am to 1:00pm - Starting pay rate: $20 - $23 per hour, plus benefits
