North Library Administrator

Position: North Library Administrator Role
Take on a pivotal role as the Interim University Librarian in North Vancouver, where your expertise will drive strategic leadership in library administration. This full-time position emphasizes enhancing student success and innovative academic resources.

You will report to the Vice President, Academic & Provost, coordinating library operations and services to support institutional goals. Your leadership will focus on resource stewardship, collection management, and fostering inclusion within library services, ensuring they reflect community needs and evolving educational trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide library services and collection development initiatives

• Implement operational plans for library facilities and resources

• Manage financial budgets and library staff relations

• Collaborate with university departments to enhance library integration

• Promote ethical stewardship of Indigenous scholarship

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Library Science from an accredited institution

• Five years of progressive library leadership experience

• Experience in strategic planning and resource allocation

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
