Tutor in Math and Science Education

Become a key player in student development as a Tutor in Math and Science Education. Your expertise will support students in mastering essential concepts through tailored lessons.
This part-time position seeks enthusiastic candidates to teach grades 9-12, utilizing solid knowledge in mathematics and science, including Trigonometry, Biology, and Chemistry. Meetings will occur primarily during evenings and Saturdays. A commitment to providing effective, interactive learning experiences while following established curricula will enhance student performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three students at once

• Deliver lessons effectively both online and in-person

• Utilize Oxford Learning's methodologies

• Document teaching outcomes and updates

• Foster a positive learning environment
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification

• At least one year of teaching or tutoring experience

• Familiarity with BC Grades 9-12 curriculum

• Strong English communication abilities

• Capacity to multitask with students
