Facilitator Restorative Schools

Position: Full-Time Facilitator for Restorative Schools
Contribute to NSRJ’s mission as a Full-Time Facilitator for the Restorative Schools Program.

Your role will involve facilitating circles and supporting conflict resolution in schools across the North Shore.

As a key member of the NSRJ team, you will bring restorative justice principles into local schools while engaging youth and community stakeholders. This full-time position requires strong facilitation and organizational skills, coupled with a commitment to fostering equity and healing. You’ll collaborate with the Program Manager to address school-based conflicts through restorative practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop agendas and activities for restorative circles

• Facilitate dialogues on values, bullying, and youth rights

• Co-facilitate conflict resolution cases in schools

• Attend community events and engage in social media

• Support youth programs and fundraising efforts

Requirements:

• Experience in restorative justice principles

• Facilitation experience with youth

• Strong organizational and networking skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
