As a Nurse Educator, you will report to the Resident Care Manager, serving as a vital resource for nursing staff. Your responsibilities include evaluating educational needs, developing training initiatives, and conducting both formal and informal educational sessions. Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate educational needs using competency data
• Design and assess learning programs collaboratively
• Coach and mentor nursing staff and preceptors
• Maintain best practices and peer-reviewed materials
• Document activities and provide necessary reports
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BC College of Nurses
• Three years recent nursing experience in specialty
• Experience in teaching and program evaluation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• CPR certification and educator pathway education preferred
