Salary and Benefits
Expected salary range: $130,000 to $140,000 per year, plus benefits, at 1.0 FTE (pro-rated based on actual FTE).

Responsibilities
Engage in clinical teaching and supervision at the Gateway Team-Based Care Teaching Clinic.
Assess and evaluate learners in the clinical setting, including nursing and other health professional students.
Deliver instruction through various methods, including guest speakers and workshop facilitation.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of health professionals on-site.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, scholarly activities, and evaluation of collaborative health education programs and team-based practices.
Help develop and implement practices at the clinic and iterate upon best practices in team-based education and care.
Qualifications
Currently credentialed as a practicing Nurse Practitioner, holding a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Experience teaching nurse practitioner students in an academic setting or direct clinical supervision in primary care practice.
Experience in group learning facilitation and interprofessional education.
Demonstrated ability to lead and/or participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Strong communication and collaboration skills within an interdisciplinary team.
Employment Details
Positions are non-tenure track faculty at the rank of Lecturer, with a one-year initial appointment, potential reappointment based on teaching excellence. Positions range between 0.60 and 1.0 FTE with a possibility of full-time appointment.
Anticipated start date:
May 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
