Guide students as a Coach for Model United Nations at Crofton House School, developing critical thinking and ethical decision-making skills through MUN and Ethics Bowl.
Crofton House School is seeking a part-time Model United Nations Coach for its Senior School (Grades 8-12). This position involves planning and delivering engaging practices, supporting students during competitions, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Collaborating closely with educators and student leaders will be essential in creating a dynamic and inclusive MUN program that appeals to all skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute after-school practices for MUN members
• Supervise students during competitive events
• Collaborate with sponsors to develop MUN and Ethics Bowl programs
• Provide coaching resources and training for competition readiness
• Mentor student captains in leadership roles
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of MUN/Ethics Bowl coaching experience
• Knowledge of local High School MUN formats
• Understanding of the learning styles of young women
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Dedication to maintaining professional coaching standards
