Montessori Elementary Educator

Position: Montessori Elementary Educator Opportunity
Join Westside Montessori School as an Elementary Educator in Vancouver, starting September 2026. This full-time position allows for a unique blend of Montessori philosophy and BC Curriculum.

We seek a skilled educator who will create engaging learning experiences for Elementary-aged students within a supportive, warm environment. The successful candidate will use varied instructional methods to meet individual learning needs while documenting student progress with proficiency-based assessments. Building strong relationships with families and observing students' social and academic growth is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a structured learning environment based on Montessori philosophy

• Deliver individualized and group instruction effectively

• Assess and document student progress regularly

• Support neurodiverse learners through responsive teaching practices

• Participate in school events and collaborative initiatives

Requirements:

• MACTE or AMI Certification for Elementary Education

• Eligibility for BC Teaching Certification

• Experience with teaching in a mixed-age setting

• Strong understanding of Montessori and inclusive practices

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
