This role focuses on enhancing Jewish student life through direct engagement at the University of British Columbia. You will meet individually with students to understand their interests, creating diverse programs grounded in Jewish culture and tradition. By fostering a warm community atmosphere, you will help students take initiative and connect with their peers in meaningful ways, enriching their university experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shape and implement 9-12 programs each year
• Build one-on-one relationships with students on campus
• Inspire students to lead events reflecting their interests
• Develop an inclusive community among diverse backgrounds
• Encourage exploration of Jewish identities and experiences
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree needed
• Outgoing individual with strong relationship skills
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining focus
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows
