Step into an impactful position as a full-time Lecturer at UBC's Vancouver campus. This teaching role includes overseeing the Master of Nursing-Nurse Practitioner program through clinical instruction and course development.
The School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia invites applications for a Lecturer to fill a one-year leave replacement. The successful candidate will focus on developing and teaching graduate-level nursing courses while mentoring students through hands-on clinical experiences. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct graduate-level nursing classes and clinical instruction
• Lead course planning and curriculum implementation
• Supervise and mentor nursing students in clinical settings
• Facilitate student learning through engaging teaching practices
• Participate in service to the School and broader community
Requirements:
• Minimum Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing
• Current Nurse Practitioner registration with BCCNM
• Proven teaching experience in higher education
• Familiarity with curriculum design and assessment
• Advocacy for diversity and inclusion within nursing
