Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management

On behalf of our client,
Southpointe Academy , we are searching for a Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management in Vancouver, BC. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who is warm, trusted, and forward‑thinking, with the presence to represent a premier independent IB World School and the insight to guide families through one of the most meaningful decisions they will make. As the architect of the school’s K–12 admissions, recruitment, and enrollment strategy, you will shape how families discover, understand, and ultimately join the Southpointe community.

Reporting to the Head of School and serving as a key member of the Leadership Team, you will influence the school’s growth, reputation, and future direction while ensuring every prospective family experiences Southpointe’s mission and values from the very first interaction.

• A mission‑aligned enrollment strategy informed by data, market insight, and IB values
• The full admissions experience from inquiry to onboarding, ensuring every family feels seen and supported
• High‑quality admissions events, tours, interviews, assessments, and communication
• A small, capable team delivering efficient operations and exceptional service
• Relationship‑building with families, feeder schools, relocation partners, and international communities
• Retention efforts, including new‑family check‑ins, engagement programs, and annual re‑enrollment
• Brand‑aligned messaging through collaboration with academics, marketing, and leadership

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 5 years of admissions experience in a preparatory or independent school environment
• Experience in an IB World School and with multicultural communities
• Familiarity with marketing, communications, and admissions databases

• Approachable, credible, and skilled at creating instant rapport
• A strong communicator who speaks to parents with authenticity
• A forward‑looking thinker who brings fresh ideas and strategic clarity
• Professional, discreet, and mature in presence
• Experienced in admissions within an IB World School or university‑prep setting
• Skilled in team leadership, relationship‑building, and cross‑functional collaboration

• $130,000 – $140,000 CAD salary
