Succeed. is a growing, innovative, research-based, educational nonprofit charity serving children, youth and adults with diagnosed or suspected learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia and other brain-based differences like ADHD and ASD. Our growing, affordable programs and services operate throughout Canada live online, from our Learning Centres in East Vancouver and North Vancouver, at in‑school locations, and in Access, our electric vehicle mobile classroom.

Purpose

of Position

Case Managers oversee a caseload of assigned instructors, learners, and families. They are responsible for facilitating communication between all parties and ensuring service delivery is individualized, research‑informed, and aligned with LDS' values and instructional approaches. Our values and instructional approaches include being neuroaffirming, strengths‑based, evidence‑informed, and individualized.

Case Managers monitor the implementation of individualized learning programs and support instructors with best practices. The position reports to the Lead Case Manager and works collaboratively with the entire education team to ensure the efficacy of service delivery. During non‑instructional times (summer, spring, and winter breaks), other duties are assigned based on individual interests and strengths.

Principal

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Independently manage a large caseload (100+) of instructors, learners, and families
  • Facilitate communication between instructors and families, and at times with schools and other professionals via multiple communication channels (written, verbal)
  • Support instructors in finding the best individualized approach for each learner and planning appropriate sessions, and ensuring a neuroaffirming and strengths‑based approach
  • For instructor‑written and submitted year‑long learning plans, provide feedback and evaluate to ensure that they have included effective and values‑aligned lesson plans and services, and that lesson‑planning is in alignment with goals and expectations.
  • Participate in observing instructors' sessions
  • Attend and contribute to regular case management team meetings

Tasks outside of those explicitly listed above may be assigned during times of increased need or during non‑instructional time.

Competencies
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (English; French not required)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self‑motivated and self‑directed
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage a large caseload during peak (and off‑peak) times
  • Ability to mentor and support new instructors
  • Exceptionally organized using digital shared platforms (databases, Excel, etc.)
  • Compassionate and caring, with an ability to set professional and privacy boundaries in sometimes challenging situations
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in education
  • Experience teaching in inclusive education environments, including experience teaching reading, writing, and mathematics with a structured, systematic, explicit approach
  • Experience working with children with diagnosed or suspected learning differences
  • Ability to use assessment strategies and instruments to identify gaps in learning
  • An understanding of the BC curriculum, or an ability to gain a quick understanding
  • Criminal Record Check with the vulnerable sector
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Good to have:
    • Experience working with complex behavioural profiles and/or within Trauma Informed Practice (asset)
    • Experience managing or supervising instructors or teachers (asset)

This position will start on or before August 17, 2026

Reports to:

This position reports to the Lead Case Manager

Hours of work
  • Availability until 6:30 pm is required on at least one weekday evening, with flexibility to work between 9 am and 7:30 pm the other 4 days of the week
  • Occasionally (less than once per month), pre‑scheduled evenings to 7:30 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm will be required to facilitate instructor observations and support
Remuneration and benefits
  • $60,000 to $70,000 per annum
