Position: Dynamic Science Outreach Facilitator
Become a key Outreach Facilitator for Science World’s 'On the Road' program, providing exciting STEAM learning experiences across British Columbia. Engage and inspire with science shows and workshops.
This part-time role with Science World requires an enthusiastic and organized individual dedicated to delivering memorable experiences in science. With a focus on flexibility and creativity, you’ll travel to various communities, bringing engaging educational programs to schools and organizations. Your ability to wow diverse audiences will be pivotal in promoting curiosity and wonder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present engaging science shows and workshops to diverse groups

• Facilitate optional online STEAM programs

• Build relationships with educators and community members

• Ensure proper setup and maintenance of presentation materials

• Safely transport equipment to various communities
Requirements:

• Strong passion for engaging audiences with science

• Experience working with varied age groups preferred

• Exceptional communication and organization skills

• Relevant background in education or science is a plus

• Valid BC Driver’s license and capabilities for lifting equipment
