As a faculty member, you will manage a dynamic research program targeting nanomedicines for various applications, including genetic disease treatment and vaccine innovation. Candidates are expected to demonstrate substantial research contributions, effective teaching, and commitment to mentoring students in an equitable academic setting. Leadership roles may also be available within UBC's collaborative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and execute a prominent research agenda in nanomedicine
• Teach and mentor students across multiple academic levels
• Facilitate interdisciplinary research collaborations
• Enhance the university’s initiatives for diversity and inclusion
• Provide valuable service to the academic community
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemical engineering, or related discipline
• Strong experience in nucleic acid therapeutics and delivery
• Proven teaching and scholarly accomplishments
• Engage actively in diverse academic experiences
• Interest in achieving professional engineer licensure in BC
