Reporting to the Resident Care Manager, you will develop, implement, and assess educational initiatives tailored for nursing staff. Ideal candidates possess a minimum of three years of clinical experience and relevant teaching or mentoring experience. Your mission will involve improving resident care through evidence-based training while cultivating a collaborative environment among healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess educational needs using competency data
• Design individualized and group learning plans
• Mentor staff to support professional growth
• Maintain current best practice educational materials
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management projects
Requirements:
• Registration with the BC College of Nurses
• Three years of relevant nursing experience
• Experience in educational program design and evaluation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate necessary equipment
