AP Psychology​/Math​/AP English

Overview

IVY Golden Union Education Group offers a variety of math, science, English language learning and AP programs. Our tutoring service targets especially for Chinese students.

Part time Teacher for English SAT, ACT, Reading & Writing for Grades 3-12, AP English Literature; and AP Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Statistics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.

• Teach English SAT, ACT, Reading & Writing for Grades 3-12 and AP English Literature.
• Teach AP Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Statistics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.
• Maintain 2-3 hour classes within scheduled times.

• Must know the subject thoroughly and be able to teach effectively.
• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• Teaching experience is a huge asset.
• Enjoy working with children and teenagers.
• Good work ethics – punctual, honest, organized, goal-oriented.
• University English literature BC teaching certificate preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of grades 9-12 English and SAT prep.
• Native English speaker with strong oral communication skills.

Class is usually 2-3 hours long. Sessions typically run from 4 PM to 8 PM on weekdays, and 9 AM to 6 PM on Saturdays.

In person. Must reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Vancouver, BC before starting work (preferred).

$35.00-$40.00 per hour. Expected hours: no less than 10 per week.

Teaching: at least 1 year preferred.

Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
