Become a Lead Robotics Mentor at Crofton House School and inspire students aged 13-18 through exciting robotics challenges. This role includes planning, coaching, and supporting competition readiness.
Crofton House School is looking for an experienced Robotics Coach to inspire and mentor students in their Robotics club. In this position, you will work collaboratively with teacher sponsors and students to create a dynamic program tailored for all skill levels. Your responsibilities will include overseeing practices, guiding students during competitions, and fostering leadership within the Robotics team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize after-school Robotics practice sessions
• Coach and develop students for competitions
• Collaborate with teachers and captains for program planning
• Provide resources and training for competition preparation
• Maintain safety and well-being of all participants
Requirements:
• 1-3 years in coaching or youth mentorship
• Solid knowledge in robotics platforms and engineering
• Skills in relevant programming languages such as C++
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities
• BC Teaching Certificate is an asset
