Vancouver Christian School is seeking a dedicated educator for a full-time role in humanities. You will collaborate with peers and participate in extracurricular activities that foster student development. Ideal candidates will bring a strong understanding of pedagogy and a passion for nurturing young minds in a faith-based context.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Christian Studies, English, and Social Studies
• Collaborate with colleagues across various subjects
• Engage in student learning and mentoring initiatives
• Participate in extracurricular activities beyond classroom hours
• Support students' spiritual and emotional growth
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of the Bible and pedagogy
• Experience as a Youth Pastor or Ministry Worker
• Eligible for teaching certification in BC
• Familiarity with the BC Ministry of Education curriculum
• Relevant educational credentials and teaching experience
