Join Churchill Secondary School as a Full-Time French Immersion Science Teacher. Shape future leaders with your expertise in teaching Science in French to grades 8 and 9.
This continuing role caters to enthusiastic educators who are fluent in French and hold a Bachelor of Education. You will teach four blocks of Science 8 and three blocks of Science 9 while ensuring students understand and appreciate scientific concepts. The Vancouver School Board values commitment and diversity in educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct four blocks of French Immersion Science 8
• Deliver three blocks of French Immersion Science 9
• Develop engaging instructional materials in French
• Monitor and assess student performance
• Support student engagement in a dynamic learning space
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education is mandatory
• Experience in Secondary Science education required
• Native-like proficiency in French is essential
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate required
• Registered with the Teacher Qualification Service
