Position: Mathematics Teacher for Grades 7-12
Join Stratford Hall as a Mathematics Teacher for grades 7-12 in beautiful Vancouver, BC. Engage students in a dynamic IB educational environment focusing on inquiry-based learning.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will foster student well-being and academic success while promoting the ideals of the International Baccalaureate programmes.

This role offers a 0.6 FTE contract with potential for growth to 0.8 FTE. Your experience in teaching mathematics, preferably in an IB setting, will be vital in helping students thrive in their learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach small groups and individual students effectively

• Empower students to engage in their own learning

• Support open-ended inquiries and real-life investigations

• Document individual learning progress and advocate for students

• Collaborate with Learning Support Specialists for targeted growth
Requirements:

• Experience teaching mathematics in an IB or inquiry-based setting

• Eligibility for BC teacher certification

• University degree with teaching emphasis in a relevant field

• Proficient with Google Workspace and strong communication skills

• Organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively
