Part-Time French Teacher

Become a part-time French Teacher at Oxford Learning Vancouver Oakridge. This in-person role focuses on enhancing communication skills for students in friendly small group settings.

As a part-time French Teacher, you will help students improve their French proficiency while following the Oxford Learning methodologies. You will teach groups of up to three students at different levels and guide them through the curriculum. A commitment to a positive learning environment is essential, promoting student confidence and self-esteem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students simultaneously

• Follow specified Oxford Learning methodologies

• Guide students through curriculum and lesson plans

• Complete daily communication updates for students

• Maintain a friendly and professional approach

Requirements:

• Proficient in spoken and written French and English

• Teaching experience, ideally with TCF/TEF exposure

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

• Ability to instruct up to Grade 9 level;
Grade 12 preferred

• Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory
