Math & Computer Science Educator

Position: Math & Computer Science Educator Needed
Enhance student learning at Forbest Academy as a Math and Computer Science Educator. Join our mission to nurture curiosity and critical thinking in students in Vancouver and Richmond.

We are currently seeking qualified educators specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science. Candidates must have relevant degrees and a minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience. Familiarity with the BC curriculum, coaching competitive materials, and strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Math and Computer Science lessons

• Create and adapt AP/IB preparatory materials

• Foster a supportive learning environment for all students

• Participate in after-school and evening classes

• Collaborate with team on educational goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics

• At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience

• Knowledge of AP, IB, SAT, and SSAT formats

• Valid BC teaching certification preferred

• Ability to travel between Vancouver and Richmond
