As a Sessional Lecturer, you will engage students in the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Stewardship. The role demands a strong foundation in Forest Sciences and proven upper-level teaching skills. Responsibilities include crafting and delivering lectures and labs while maintaining a strong commitment to evidence-based instructional strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver three engaging lectures weekly
• Conduct three laboratory sections each week
• Employ evidence-based teaching to facilitate student learning
• Provide formative feedback on assessments
• Maintain current knowledge in forest pathology
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Forest Sciences
• Research experience in pathogen biology and management
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness
• Commitment to active learning strategies
• Positive evaluations from previous teaching experiences
