Position: Educational Learning Specialist Role
Join Fraser Academy as an Educational Learning Specialist in Vancouver, BC, focusing on students with dyslexia and learning differences. This full-time position emphasizes individualized learning plans and innovative teaching methods.

As part of the Learning Services team, you will create strategies that cater to the unique needs of students in grades 1-12.

Your role involves employing research-based practices to foster cognitive and academic growth. Applicants should demonstrate excellence in instructional delivery and a passion for special education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized lessons using Orton Gillingham techniques

• Create tailored learning plans for students based on profiles

• Supervise and support groups during breaks and after school

• Contribute to student assessments and IEP documentation

• Participate actively in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Certification in Orton Gillingham is mandatory

• Bachelor’s Degree with relevant coursework

• At least 2 years experience in remedial education

• Background in English is a plus
