High School Teacher (1.0 FTE)

Vancouver Christian School is a diverse K-12 independent school in Vancouver, British Columbia. We are committed to nurturing students' academic, social, spiritual, and emotional growth, equipping them to live lives of transformation and service.

We are seeking a teacher for subjects including humanities (Christian Studies, English, Social Studies), electives (Marketing and Design, Foods Studies) and resource, to work cooperatively with the colleagues within his/her department and across the school, and to participate fully in student‑learning and extra‑curricular activities outside of the school day, as applicable.

• Strong working knowledge of the Bible and current pedagogy
• Experience as a Youth Pastor or Ministry Worker
• Must qualify for a certificate issued by the Teacher Regulation Branch of the BC Ministry of Education or a “Letter of Permission”
• Is familiar with the BC Ministry of Education curriculum

Anticipated full‑time teacher salary range for 2025/26: $56,016 - $100,902 (Dependent on education, qualifications, and experience; pro‑rated for part‑time teachers)
