This position is pivotal in developing, implementing, and overseeing the Company Program for Indigenous Learners. You will cultivate relationships with Indigenous communities and educational systems while ensuring curriculum reflects Indigenous teachings and values. Regular travel is necessary for effective partnership building across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development of strategic partnerships across Indigenous education sectors
• Ensure curriculum relevancy by integrating Indigenous perspectives
• Represent JABC at community events and cultural gatherings
• Expand the reach of Indigenous-focused programs effectively
• Collaborate with community partners to align with local goals
Requirements:
• Extensive experience with Indigenous cultures and education
• Proven partnership development capabilities
• Strength in public speaking and cross-cultural relations
• Ability to oversee multiple initiatives seamlessly
• Readiness to travel within British Columbia
