Position: Student Teacher Candidates: Substitute Teacher
Granite School District is hiring a Substitute Teacher for student teacher candidates for the  school year. This role is focused on maintaining classroom efficacy and student engagement in the absence of regular teachers.

As a Substitute Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering lesson plans and fostering a safe, productive learning environment. Adherence to school policies is crucial as you supervise students in various settings. Active participation throughout the school day will keep educational objectives on track.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans and instructional materials provided

• Maintain classroom order and student respect

• Supervise students in classroom and other areas

• Report serious issues to school administration

• Monitor and assist students throughout school hours

Requirements:

• Background check completion required prior to start

• Appropriate educational qualifications:
Associate degree or 60 credit hours

• Availability to travel within the district for assignments

• Minimum of three days of work required each month

• Ability to lift classroom materials when necessary
