Description:Reporting to the Director, Greystone College Programs, the Instructor is responsible for providing
quality instruction and facilitating student learning following the prescribed curriculum. The Project Management instructor currently runs only in evenings:
Tuesdays to Thursdays :pm – :pm PST. (Days subject to change)
Job Duties:
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Deliver engaging and effective instruction that follows established curriculum and schedule in an interactive, student-centered environmentPrepare daily lesson plans and complete all required preparation prior to course deliveryProvide academic assistance in a variety of learning situationsProvide detailed feedback to students on their academic performance in a timely mannerMaintain records for the purposes of grading and tracking attendanceCorrespond with students, management and administrative staff as required during the course offeringComplete all required administrative tasks in a timely mannerRemain current in area of professional expertise and teaching methodsWhen required, assist new instructorsParticipate in curriculum/program reviews and assist in the evaluation of program qualityDemonstrate values and principles of professional conduct in all endeavorsAdhere to Greystone College policies and procedures and assist in their implementation as necessaryAttend faculty meetings and training sessionsOther duties as assignedEssential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
Must have work experience managing all aspects of the project lifecyclePMP Certification or equivalent formal credentialPrior teaching experience in the post-secondary environment is considered an assetStrong presentation and public speaking skillsExcellent English-language communication skillsAbility to communicate complex information to students both verbally and in writing in an understandable mannerAbility to motivate adult learners to achieve academic successTeam leadership and excellent interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills, ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlinesCommitment to excellence and strong attention to detailDemonstrated proficiency in MS Office applicationsExperience in learning management system platforms such as Moodle is an assetEducation and Experience Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or other relevant discipline with minimum of years of industry experience as a Project Manager ORyears of industry experience as a Project Manager
