Position: Kindergarten Educator at Crofton House School
Shape young minds at Crofton House School as a Kindergarten Educator in Vancouver, utilizing play-based methods in a girl-centered educational setting. Experience a collaborative and supportive teaching framework.
This role is a full-time, fixed-term contract for the school year, replacing a maternity leave. You will co-construct the Junior Kindergarten program with a team of educators, focusing on play as a core element of the learning experience. Your teaching will also integrate outdoor learning to foster both physical and cognitive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to design and execute an enriching Junior Kindergarten curriculum

• Direct learning experiences with the support of additional educators

• Incorporate outdoor activities for holistic child development

• Reflect on learning through documentation and assessment techniques

• Maintain strong parent partnerships with consistent communication
Requirements:

• B.C. Ministry of Education Teaching Certification required

• Desirable qualifications include Early Childhood Educator or Education Assistant Certificate

• In-depth knowledge of play-based learning

• Experience leveraging outdoor settings for educational activities

• Capacity to communicate effectively with children and parents
