Fraser Academy is looking for a full-time Social Studies Teacher dedicated to enhancing the education of students with learning differences. Collaborating with fellow educators, you’ll implement innovative teaching strategies tailored to meet diverse needs. Your engagement in co-curricular activities will further enrich the school experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and assess Social Studies lessons per BC Curriculum

• Design innovative lessons to support cognitive growth

• Engage with students through extracurricular and field activities

• Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans

• Ensure high-quality communication with students and parents
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Social Studies field

• Bachelor’s of Education and BC Teacher Certification

• Experience in structured literacy teaching is advantageous

• Preference for experience with students’ learning differences

• Independent school background and coaching experience are beneficial
