UBC's Equity & Inclusion Office is seeking a Manager to lead student and community engagement initiatives. In this role, you will manage programming, develop resources, and build partnerships with historically marginalized student and employee groups. Your efforts will help promote equity and enhance support for HPSM communities across the university.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage development of community engagement programming
• Foster partnerships with student-led and affinity groups
• Coordinate activities for meaningful community representation
• Recruit and train community volunteers for mentorship
• Prepare reports on community engagement initiatives
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum five years of related experience
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with community engagement in higher education
Lead efforts in equity and inclusion at UBC, enhancing student and community relations across campuses.
