St. Andrew's Elementary School is looking for a teacher to lead our Learning Resource Department. This teacher would be responsible for overseeing students with diverse abilities, managing, updating, and producing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) by meeting with parents, students, teachers, educational assistants (EAs), and resource support providers (speech language pathologists, behavior interventionalists, etc.) and then implementing, monitoring, and supporting students in reaching IEP goals.
The role also includes scheduling and supporting educational assistants and resource support providers and assisting teachers and EAs in creating classroom resources which support students with diverse needs. Applicants with experience in learning resource, creating and managing IEPs, and knowledge of CISVA procedures would be an asset. The successful candidate would also be required to contribute to the extracurricular programs of the school.
