Research Coordination at UBC Faculty of Medicine

Drive student engagement through research and education as the Student Research and Education Coordinator at the University of British Columbia. This hybrid role focuses on co-curricular experiential opportunities for undergraduate students.
As a key member of the UBC Faculty of Medicine, you will coordinate student research programs and initiatives that enhance learning and engagement. Your responsibilities will include managing internal award programs, implementing evaluations, and providing guidance on research policies. You'll work closely with various committees to ensure students receive the necessary support and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal awards and manage funding criteria

• Develop evaluation tools and annual participation reports

• Serve as the contact for UBC Medical Journal

• Advise students on research engagement policies

• Facilitate research-skills training workshops
Requirements:

• Experience in program coordination or administration

• Knowledge of student research policies

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to develop educational materials

• Familiarity with funding opportunities in health research
