Vancouver's Election Training Coordinator

The City of Vancouver invites applications for the Election Trainer role to conduct training for over 2,200 election staff. This position emphasizes curriculum development and effective delivery.

In this role, you will oversee the creation and implementation of essential training programs essential to election operations. Your experience in adult education and training delivery will be vital as you prepare staff during a focused training schedule, particularly from September to October. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will support the integrity of the election process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate training programs for voting place staff

• Create instructional materials and presentation content

• Conduct assessments to identify training needs

• Coordinate end-user training sessions

• Review and report on training program effectiveness

Requirements:

• Diploma in adult education or relevant experience

• Significant experience in training program design

• Knowledge of adult learning theories

• Public sector experience preferred
