Position: Math Tutor for Grades 1-12 in West
Join Oxford Learning as a Math Tutor, specializing in grades 1-12 in West Vancouver. This part-time position allows you to engage with students after school and help them master math skills.

Oxford Learning offers an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals to bring their math expertise to the classroom. As a Teacher-Tutor, you'll use structured lesson plans provided by the center, allowing you to focus solely on student success. The role is in-person and requires you to commute to the learning center, teaching multiple students in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tutor groups of up to three students in various math levels

• Implement pre-planned lessons using established teaching methods

• Document lesson notes and student learning progress

• Offer daily updates on each student's communication

• Foster an encouraging and professional atmosphere

Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or certification in math or education

• Prior experience in tutoring math from grades 1-12

• Excellent written and verbal skills in English

• Capability to handle multiple students simultaneously

• Available to work through June with option for summer
