The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. Corpus Christi Elementary School is a fun and joyful faith community centered on Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We integrate our shared Catholic faith in our daily lives, through the celebration of the Mass, prayer, and liturgical celebrations. JOB DESCRIPTIONThis one‑year Grade 2 teaching position will be offered from September 2026 to June 2027, with the possibility of extension into the 2027‑2028 school year. The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate strong commitment to the Catholic faith and competency with the Grade 2 curriculum, including inquiry‑based learning and interactive technology.
- Teach early literacy and numeracy skills and apply a range of intervention strategies.
- Deliver the sacramental program, including First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
- Assist with extra‑curricular programs and activities.
- Work collaboratively in a team atmosphere.
