Job Description Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ESL Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about language education, culturally responsive, and skilled in creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences for English language learners from diverse backgrounds. This is a temporary position for July - August 2026, and subject to renewal.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver interactive, communicative English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Design and implement daily lesson plans that address all language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and proficiency levels of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Provide regular feedback to students and collaborate with academic staff to support student development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Support students with language learning strategies and academic guidance as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, Education, English, Linguistics, or related field (required).
- ESL teaching certification (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent) (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of ESL teaching experience, preferably in an academic or language school setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with international learners of all ages.
- Tech-savvy and able to integrate digital tools into the classroom (preferred).
