Indigenous-Focused Teacher on Call

We are looking for passionate Teachers on Call to support the Stz’uminus community's educational goals. In this role, you will fill in for absent teachers, facilitating dynamic learning experiences that incorporate Coast Salish teachings and land-based learning. Your ability to build meaningful relationships with students and families will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide educational support when regular teachers are unavailable

• Integrate indigenous teachings in lesson planning

• Collaborate with peers on innovative learning projects

• Participate actively in the professional growth of the educational community

• Conduct assessments for student learning metrics

Requirements:

• Valid Bachelor of Education

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Commitment to indigenous student support

• Qualified under BC Teacher Regulation Branch

• Appreciation for diverse educational experiences
