Reporting to the Dean of Education, the assistant will create valuable connections for immigrants accessing public services. Responsibilities include guiding clients through community resources, conducting needs interviews, and organizing relevant workshops. You will need excellent customer service skills and an understanding of cultural diversity to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist immigrants in accessing public service resources
• Promote and develop community settlement programs
• Conduct interviews and assessments with clients
• Implement mentoring opportunities for immigrant support
• Organize community forums to address immigration topics
Requirements:
• Diploma in a related field with two years of experience
• Strong skills in customer service and program promotion
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information sensitively
• Bilingual proficiency is preferred
