Position: Early Childhood Educator at Langara College
Join Langara College as an Early Childhood Educator and nurture young minds in Vancouver, B.C. This casual role focuses on developing instructional programs for preschool-aged children and toddlers.

As an Early Childhood Educator reporting to the Head Teacher, your main responsibilities include planning, supervising, and implementing developmental programs tailored for diverse age groups, including children with special needs. You will work collaboratively with fellow educators to provide quality care, ensuring safety and engagement in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise preschool aged children and toddlers daily

• Plan instructional and developmental programs effectively

• Collaborate with other educators for improved outcomes

• Maintain a safe and inviting learning environment

• Communicate effectively with parents and staff

Requirements:

• Valid ECE One Year Certificate from British Columbia

• Practicum experience in child care settings

• Knowledge of child care legislation in BC

• Current First Aid or Child Safe certification required

• Ability to lift weights exceeding 10kg
