This permanent position involves 37.5 hours per week, where you’ll plan, develop, and implement appropriate activities within BC’s Early Learning Framework.
Your role will require strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, children, and families, especially those experiencing crises. Taking a lead role among ECAs and non-ECE staff, you will foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes the child's well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and lead stimulating early years programming
• Train and support other educational staff
• Provide emotional support and resources for families
• Monitor and assess children's developmental progress
• Encourage teamwork and collaboration among staff
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in early education
• BC ECE Certificate and valid driver’s license required
• Agreement with our Statement of Faith and Core Values
• Successful completion of a criminal record check
