Early Childhood Educator

Position: Full-Time Early Childhood Educator
Become a Full-Time Educator at our Early Childhood Education Centre for the  school year. Engage students with creative, play-based learning while collaborating with a dynamic teaching team.

This position focuses on co-teaching the Junior Kindergarten program in a supportive environment. You will enhance student learning through small group instruction and vibrant lesson planning, emphasizing the importance of play and embracing outdoor activities. Partnering with parents and participating in co-curricular programs are also essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of early childhood educators

• Co-teach dynamic Junior Kindergarten lessons

• Support students with a play-based approach

• Gather documentation and assessments of learners

• Participate in after-school care programs

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Educator Diploma or degree

• Experience as an early childhood educator

• Understanding of VCH licensing

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Commitment to child care and safety
