Step into a leadership role as Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Langara College in Vancouver, B.C. This permanent position focuses on strategic leadership and program development while fostering academic integrity and student engagement.
As the Dean, you will oversee a diverse range of arts programs, including Theatre Arts and Professional Photography. Your leadership will ensure the success and integrity of the Faculty’s academic offerings. Collaborating with internal and external partners, you will develop and implement a shared vision that aligns with Langara’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Articulate a vision and goals for the Faculty
• Develop new programs and oversee curriculum
• Manage faculty resources and budget effectively
• Foster scholarship and applied research
• Represent the Faculty in community and industry engagements
Requirements:
• Graduate degree (PhD preferred) with 10 years of experience
• Proven experience in strategic planning and program development
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development processes
• Familiarity with budgetary management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
