Casual Early Childhood Educator in BC

Support inclusive education as a Casual Early Childhood Educator with the Developmental Disabilities Association. This role fosters a play-based, family-centered environment for children's growth.

The Developmental Disabilities Association is searching for an on-call Early Childhood Educator to enhance its Early Learning programs. Candidates should hold or be enrolled in the BC Early Childhood Educator/Assistant Certification. You'll create enriching experiences for both typical and special needs children while collaborating closely with the management team to meet community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement play-based learning programs

• Facilitate interaction among children of diverse needs

• Collaborate with management to address children's needs

• Engage with families to provide support and resources

• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• BC Early Childhood Educator/Assistant Certification or in progress

• First Aid/CPR certification and Criminal Record Clearance

• Strong communication and basic computer skills

• Availability of at least two days per week

• Eligible to work in Canada
