This role involves fostering connections within a faith-based community, promoting intellectual, social, and emotional development among students. As a Grade 4 teacher, you will employ inquiry-based learning while adhering to curriculum standards set by the BC Ministry of Education and the CISVA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning

• Foster a sense of belonging among students in the classroom

• Implement inquiry-based, student-centered teaching strategies

• Administer Foundations Skills Assessment (FSA) to track progress

• Work on a short-term contract with potential for permanency

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate essential

• Experience with student-centered instruction preferred

• Strong collaborative skills to build student relationships

• Knowledge of CISVA Christian Education Philosophy is advantageous

• Commitment to teaching in a faith-based setting
