As the Head of Counselling, you will manage teaching quality and departmental goals. This faculty position requires oversight of curriculum, evaluation, and guidance for staff, along with key administrative tasks like budgeting. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise curriculum quality and course objectives
• Participate in faculty evaluation and development
• Coordinate schedules and responsibilities among faculty
• Liaise with external educational and community entities
• Prepare and monitor departmental budget
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology or equivalent
• Minimum three years of counselling experience
• Knowledge of community services and education systems
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Solid theoretical knowledge in career counselling
Lead the counselling department to enhance educational outcomes and student achievement at Vancouver Community College.
