Position: Casual Early Childhood Educator Role
Langara College in Vancouver, B.C. seeks a Casual Early Childhood Educator passionate about fostering early childhood development. This role involves planning and executing educational programs for toddlers and preschoolers.

In this position, you will report to the Head Teacher and collaborate with a team of educators to provide engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate programs. Your experience in early childhood education will be crucial as you implement practices that cater to the needs of diverse learners, including those with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute instructional programs for children

• Supervise and provide care to toddlers and preschoolers

• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance learning

• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the caregiving environment

• Communicate skillfully with children and parents alike

Requirements:

• Must hold an ECE One Year Certificate from BC

• Experience from a practicum in a child care setting

• Familiarity with BC child care legislation and regulations

• Required documentation for a criminal record check

• Physical ability to lift over 10kg
