Vancouver Early Readers Teacher

Position: Vancouver Early Readers Teacher Role
Help children grow as readers with Oxford Learning Kerrisdale by becoming an Early Readers Teacher. This part-time role focuses on phonics education and foundational reading.

Oxford Learning Kerrisdale seeks passionate Teacher-Tutors to engage with young students, ages 3-6, in person at our Vancouver center. The position offers the chance to work with small groups and utilize our specialized Little Readers program. You'll enhance students’ reading capabilities and foster their love for learning in a supportive environment, making a lasting impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach phonics and reading skills to groups of up to 3 students

• Conduct engaging and interactive in-person lessons

• Implement tailored teaching strategies using proprietary materials

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational certification

• Teaching or tutoring experience at the 1-5 grade level

• Excellent English communication skills

• Ability to work closely with multiple students

• Valid vulnerable sector screening required
