Music Teachers-TTOC; On-Call

The Vancouver Board of Education (VSB) welcomes applications for the position of On-Call Music Teachers.

Only candidates who are fully qualified in this subject area will be considered.

The Board's general requirement is that TTOC's be available for call-out on 50% of the instructional days in any month.

• Bachelor of Education
• Undergraduate Degree in Music and/or successful teaching experience in Music at the Elementary/Secondary level (required)
• Membership in or eligible to become a member of the Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)
• Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS)

  • Recent Graduates require final Practicum Reports
  • Experienced Teachers require a recent Teaching Evaluation within the past 8 years

    Faculty Advisor, School Advisor(s) and your most recent employer. In addition, you may also include Principal or Vice Principal.
  • Experienced Teachers: current Principal, Vice Principal and previous Administrator(s).

The VSB has been given approval from the Human Rights Tribunal for a Special Program under s.42(3) of the Human Rights Code.
