On-Call Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Enhance early learning in Vancouver/Richmond as an On-Call Early Childhood Educator Assistant with the Developmental Disabilities Association. Engage with children of all abilities in a supportive, inclusive environment.

As a member of the Early Learning programs, the Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) enriches educational experiences for families and children at Developmental Disabilities Association. This role involves providing daily interactions for children with special needs and typical development. You will work alongside the Manager to ensure each child's needs are met in a play-based, family-centered atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering inclusive educational programs

• Facilitate daily interactions among children of varied abilities

• Collaborate with the Manager for program success

• Support community involvement and engagement

• Maintain a safe, enriching play environment

Requirements:

• BC Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certification or enrollment in ECE Program

• Completion of Criminal Record Clearance and Medical Clearance

• Valid First Aid/CPR certification

• Basic English communication skills and computer literacy

• Eligible to work in Canada and required to join the union
